No obvious red flags yet, but stay alert
A genuine Binance airdrop either lands in your account automatically (Launchpool, HODLer) or is claimed inside the Binance app (Alpha points — often within a time window). Either way it never asks for your private key, never makes you pay first, and never sends you to an unfamiliar link to approve anything. If any one of those three happens, stop — no matter how polished it looks.
This is a rule-of-thumb checklist to help you check yourself, not a verdict: ticking a box doesn't prove it's a scam, and ticking none doesn't prove it's safe. Scams keep changing shape, so when you're unsure, the safest move is to treat it as a scam — click nothing, approve nothing, pay nothing, hand over no keys. This tool runs entirely in your browser and collects or uploads nothing.

Why these few are the dangerous ones

These are the moves fake airdrops and phishing lean on most. Two of them are all but proof of a scam on their own: asking for your private key or seed phrase is handing over the wallet itself — once they have it, they can move everything out; and making you pay a "fee" before you can claim is the classic advance-fee con — you pay, and the airdrop never shows up. The rest (an unfamiliar approval link, a lookalike domain, "bait tokens" that appear from nowhere, pressure to act fast, a "support agent" sliding into your DMs) may only look suspicious one at a time, but stack a few together and the picture is clear. For the full breakdown and real cases, read our full look at fake and phishing airdrops.

Before you judge any airdrop, get clear on which real airdrops Binance actually runs and how each one pays out, so you don't confuse the official events with imitations. That's covered in the overview of Binance's four airdrop types. Keep one line in mind: a real airdrop never needs your private key, never needs you to pay first, and never needs you to approve anything on an unfamiliar site.
